I learned to work with hair in Moscow, Russia, graduating from Beauty School in 1997.  For 18 years I worked at Copenhagen Hair Salon in Evanston, Illinois until it was time for me to be on my own.  Copenhagen was a family salon where I learned to work with all ages and genders. I like to do everything to do with hair: cuts, color, perms, updos, and styling. I enjoy it all. My favorite part of what I do is seeing the end result.

My emphasis is to give a great haircut. It is so important. Because you start your day every day looking in the mirror at yourself.  This can affect one’s attitude, good or bad, so the haircut has to be right. It has to be easy for the person to work with. So I like to make that happen for my clients.  To make a difference for them in their daily lives.

Secondly, I so love to create for each client’s unique style. So, I keep learning new skills that will lend a wide range of looks for my clients and keep my work fresh and current.
